Road Not Taken

I long to travel the around Malaysia with car. I  love movie plot that involved road trip and see characters evolved from the trip.While there will be new face, foods and places that I will encounter, I seek self-discovery above all.

I've written on this once.

I found my journal that was owned by my 19 year old self. In it I found the route that I want to take and stops I will make. The stops are:

  4. Ipoh

  6. Kulim
  7. Georgetown
  8. Baling
  9. Alor Star
  10. Kangar
  11. Langkawi
  12. Kuala Nerang
  13. Sungai Petani
  14. Grik
  15. Tanah Mas
  16. Kota Bharu
  17. Pasir Putih
  18. Kuala Terengganu
  19. Marang
  20. Dungun
  21. Kerteh
  22. Kuantan
  23. Pekan
  24. Temerloh
  25. Rompin
  26. Mersing
  27. Kota Tinggi
  28. Johor Bahru
  29. Batu Pahat
  30. Muar 
  31. Melaka
  32. Kuala Pilah
  33. Rembau
  34. Kajang
  35. Gombak
Knowing it will harder and expensive to round the Peninsular Malaysia, I've revised a shorter version of the road trip. In it, I put requirements like:

  • Minimum two days, max 3 days
  • Drive alone
  • Supplies needed : petrol, food and drink
  • Stops: prayer time, toilet break, sleep break
  • Start: Gombak. Stop: Gombak,
  • No one has to know 
I do know that I wanted to travel along the Pan Borneo Highway. 

Now I commute more than 100km everyday for work. Until then I have the following movies to keep me entertained:
